DashWall is designed as a private, local-first macOS utility.

All Calendar and Reminder data is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded, tracked, or shared.

Data We Access

With your permission, DashWall reads Apple Calendar events and Apple Reminders through Apple's EventKit framework. This lets the app show selected events, incomplete reminders, and live countdowns on your desktop.

Data We Collect

DashWall does not collect personal data. The app does not include analytics, tracking, advertising SDKs, account creation, or cloud sync.

Network Use

DashWall does not send Calendar or Reminder data to any server.

Settings

Your app settings, such as selected calendars, selected reminder lists, theme choices, and Focus Mode preferences, are stored locally on your Mac.

Permissions

Calendar access is used to display events and event countdowns.
Reminders access is used to display incomplete reminders and reminder countdowns.
Optional Apple Events access may be used only if you enable Focus Mode desktop-icon hiding.
